Tate: It's Just Another Game

Alan Tate insists that tonight's FA Cup tie at Histon is just another game
The Swansea City vice-captain should retain his place at the Glass World stadium this evening as the Swans try to overcome their third round opponents and earn themselves a crack at either Portsmouth or Bristol City in the process.
And Tate insists that despite all the hype that has surrounded the calling off of the first game, tonight is just another game where the Swans have to be professional and do what is needed to get past their non-league opponents.
He also believes that whether they win or lose there will be no entries in the Swansea City credit column this evening - the league side is expected to triumph come what may
Speaking to the Evening Post, Tate said "To be honest, I don't really know what's been going on. I've not seen it in the press.
"I couldn't tell you exactly what's been said. I'm aware that something has been said, but as far as I'm concerned it's just another game.
"If he (Baldwin) is trying to hype up the game then that's up to him. It's something out of my control.
"Non-league teams tend to get themselves really up for it and start having a go at league teams.
"We have got to overcome this if we want to progress and book a place in the next round against either Bristol City or Portsmouth.
"We played well at Burnley and we have to take in different surroundings at Histon. But the principle is the same for us. We have to play well to win the game and there will be no change in attitude for us.
"It's one of those cup games where no matter what happens you are not going to come out with any credit. You play well and win but that's what people expect you to. You get beat and then you get a caning in the press.
"It's part and parcel of the job. We've been away to teams like Newport, Billericay, Horsham — we've been through it before, so it's not something new to us."
