Fat chance of a Smith/Woody return....but at least we get a new Burger Bar in the East Stand!

Like AmyWinehouse turning up pissed on stage, are there any real surprises at LS11 this summer?
Having just spent £4m on Newcastle's captain Kevin Nolan, it is widely expected that Sam Allardyce will make a second raid on Tyneside and sign Alan Smith - who's proposed move to Leeds last week inevitably caused a blinkered debate, with those prats who seem to hate Man U more than they love Leeds not having any of it.
However the sensible and rational view is Smith's wages and injury problems are the most likely stumbling block, particularly his wages where Ken Bates is concerned.
Jonathan Woodgate has been made available too, however again it is unlikely Bates would entertain a fraction of his wages.
You would love to think that both players, lovingly nurtured through our Thorp Arch academy would play for Leeds for peanuts, out of honour - but that just ain't gonna happen.
It looks like Bradley Johnson will move to Norwich. The Canaries have already made an unsuccessful bid for Robert Snodgrass and may come back with more cash for the Scot.
Max Gradel, like Bradley Johnson and Jermaine Beckford before him sitting on a flimsy contract is rumoured to be a transfer-target for Swansea City for a paltry £1.5m.
Oh well, at least the official club website tell us of the improvements made to the East Stand concourse so at least we have a new burger bar to look forward to in August!
