Steve James suffers devastating loss

So sad after what happened to Matthew Maynard and Tom. Steve James is a lovely chap who is an excellent journalist and a true Glammy Legend. Very sad news.

Most of them are dressed in their riot gear, with their caps on to look ‘normal’ and less intimidating. Their helmets are attached to their Utility belts. Which they will switch to when their is any sign of trouble.

God no, they deserve to be rammed. They could kill someone the way they ride those bikes. And they are usually carrying some sort of weapon. Ram away... steal a bike or moped and get your just deserts.

Derby County Are Bringing Around 1,000 Travelling fans
at 23:50 7 Feb 2020

Derby County took up an initial allocation of 1,033. Yesterday (Thursday) they had sold 964. I would have thought they would bring more for a Saturday match at 3pm? They brought more for the FA Cup Match in 1999.

Matt Grimes Interesting Stat

He wouldn’t be my choice of captain, (Ayew and VDH) but it is nice to see he is winning his fair share of tackles this season. He was immense last season. Hasn’t hit near that standard this season.

Oil McB v Cardiff?
at 11:27 28 Jan 2020

I was thinking that myself. There will be around a fair few of his mates from Swansea there and a few others. Allocation should be around 4,500 to 5,000, if requested by United.

Liberty Attendance: the downward two-year trend in the Championship
at 23:24 20 Jan 2020

I haven’t been to the Liberty since the home match v Cardiff, I have been suffering with some eye problems and I have been under the care of the Emergency Eye Clinic at Singleton Hospital. Not much point going when I couldn’t see. I would have been included in the attendance as I am a season ticket holder.

The crowd was always going to be smaller this season after the season ticket holders from the Prem days failed to renew. The likes of my brother and nephew didn’t renew, but they still come down. They are now able to pick and choose the matches suitable for them and my nephew who is 18 and in University, can now go to the matches with his mates and they can all sit together, unlike the prem days!

We haven’t played any of the bigger teams yet at home this season (except the Cardiff Match). We still to play at home...

Derby
Leeds
Sheffield Wednesday
WBA
Bristol City
I reckon Luton will bring a few too...

These so called ‘Bigger games‘ will attract more home fans and of course the away end will be a lot fuller.

The club not operating School schemes this season is a disgrace. That Corners of the ground and that away end on the North Eastern side (when we played the likes of Wigan) could have been filled with children for Schools and football clubs. Swansea is a growing university City and we need to attract more students. We seem to get a few Eastern Asian students coming down this season.

The season just before we went into the prem the club sold corner season tickets for £250 and then £300, these type of offers need to be revisited. Anyway just a few thoughts.
