Lies, damned lies and statistics

It's the first time in my lifetime (and I'm in my mid sixties) that doctors are actually refusing to see patients on a face to face basis. I went in to a pharmacy today and there were a set of traffic cones keeping the public 2ft away from the counter and there was a stool with a notice on it saying "please put your prescription on the stool and step back away from it) . There may have been some people who sadly would have passed away this winter ,but if surgeries are closing and only giving telephone appointments then that tells you how serious they think this virus is.

British supermarkets

They did this morning to my wife and i . Innocently bought 6 tins of mushy peas as per usual and when we were going through the checkout the assistant said he could only let us have 5. Haven't heard the end of it off my wife 😂. She generally eats her body weight of mushy peas 😂

Australian Grand Prix cancelled

Like f1 myself , but have lost a bit of interest over the years. Mostly now it's too much of a procession once the lights go out and most races have very little thrills. Plus the characters have gone out of it like we had years back.

How many toilet rolls do you currently have in your house?
at 23:04 11 Mar 2020

Me. Only go to Aldi to buy my toilet rolls so buy 2 packs of 24 at a time. Always have bought them like that, and nothing to do with stock piling.

Was there until about 1967 , hated the man for not letting us play football. You are right though he would go mental if he saw a football.

The first boos i heard were in the 9th minute, for goodness sake . In fairness there wasn't much to cheer about Tuesday and our home record this season is atrocious.

I've said it on more than one occasion. Mark Drakeford is a horrible man and our country deserves far better than him at the helm.

This entirely. Like you said there are as many risks, but there were with Martinez and Rodgers and that didn't turn out too bad.

Well he had a good first half of the season with Charlton and even weighed in with a few goals. So it seems we've turned a half decent promising youngster into a shadow of the player he was a couple of months ago. Well you know who to blame for that . There are a few of our players going backwards at a rate of knots under Coopers management.

Well that's your Labour run Welsh Assembly for you and in particular the leader Mark Drakeford. As far as they are concerned the rest of Wales can starve.

Less "suits" at Morrisons
at 21:42 23 Jan 2020

It's the same in tesco fforestfach after 6. Empty shelves with the stuff you need wrapped in boxes and shinkwrap on shelves well above average height in their storage area. I worked in Tesco when i left school many moons ago , and woe betide staff if there were any shelves empty.

He needs to get his finger out of his backside and sort out some of the major issues our country faces. Too busy trying to overturn the brexit result to bother with the real issues. Quick enough to slag Westminster off , yet needs to look at his own performance and what he's not doing for Wales.
