Other opinions are available, but are incredibly fûcking stupid. Crack on, dipshit.

Eifion and Nash were very much in the frame. Alan and Don Shepherd were both top drawer but were unlucky to be around when England were blessed with world class players in their roles.

Three consecutive sixes to get a ton on your debut.

If the England selectors had nurtured him he could have been a fixture. Prodigiously talented.
Gave Allan Donald the charge and smashed him straight back over his head for six.

I mean, how the fûck do you do that to Donald bowling at 90mph plus?

Alan was a huge hero of mine and my all-time favourite Glamorgan player. I had the Stuart Surridge Alan Jones bat autographed by the man himself.

Very few players could match his effortless, exquisite off and cover drives. Incredibly unlucky to be in his prime when England had Boycott, Edrich and a few others also scoring prodigiously in county cricket.

England would kill for him now.

Let’s hope he pulls through and comes out the other side a more thoughtful and, dare I say , more compassionate politician.

So do I even though I loathe him.

Some on here think it was an OK comment for a PM to make. It wasn’t funny or appropriate then, it sure as fûck isn’t now. It wasn’t aimed at Boris’s condition.

If Starmer gets in will non Labour voters (last election) vote for him ?
at 17:27 6 Apr 2020

Mr. Starmer appears more than capable of distinguishing shit from Shinola. A very promising start.

This gem from John Crace deserves another airing lest anyone is still in doubt -

“But Corbyn just keeps coming back for more. He’s even happy to let Richard Burgon out on the media round to defend him. The shadow justice minister is quite possibly the stupidest person in Westminster – he makes Liz Truss look like an intellectual colossus – and there is no bad situation he can’t make a whole lot worse. A mitigation plea from Burgon invariably results in a heavier sentence. But Jeremy is OK with that. The more he is vilified, the more he is certain he is in the right.”
