Yes it was called Circles for a long while, even though everyone referred to it as Dora’s.
I remember Sham 69, the Buzzcocks, Adam & the Ants, the Slits, the Lurkers all playing there in the punk heyday. It was rumoured the Pistols were booked at some stage but they basically weren’t allowed to play anywhere at that time

Meanwhile in the South Wales powerhouse the first minister procrastinates over building the M4 relief road causing misery for thousands of commuters at least twice a day.
In an interview today he stated “hopefully the commuters will get fed up of the traffic jams & turn off at Cardiff Gate and head to Cardiff Bay. There they will be able to reduce their commute and stimulate the economy by buying some of the abundance of empty flats in the dreary & souless bay. One day the children of the bay will grow up to be Cardiff City fans & fill up the empty blue (and red) seats at Legoland”. Welsh Labour doing their bit for the economy

So, in a nutshell:
Our goalkeeper is too slow getting the game re-started from the back
Our defence is too slow, rolling the ball back and forth between themselves
One of our full backs can sometimes get a good cross in to the box but is too slow & a poor defender
Our midfield is too slow getting the ball forward, no pace, no width, don’t score enough
Our forwards get no service - though McBurnie managed to score 20+ last season
Our substitutions are too late & like for like
Our manage is too slow, defensive, ponderous, s scared of losing
How come so many posters think we are still in with a shout of a play off spot ?
Edit - sorry Jackmee just a general comment not intended as a reply to your post

They’ll be digging the Kingsway up within two years, the road lanes are too narrow. You heard it here first. It’s what Town Planning dept does in Swansea

He’s useless. We know it. He knows it. He’s got (another) one up on us today. He should enjoy the moment because we all know it isn’t gonna last long. Karma soon. What is it about Stoke City & their supporters ?

“Not what he is saying is it?” .... really? I didn’t politicise this thread. Multiple governments including the red Tory dynasty of Blair & Brown presided over this system & did f’all about it. All seems a bit hypocritical pointing the finger. Meanwhile Welsh Labour set about making transport in Wales even worse, yet still they get voted in. Wow! The irony, must try harder chief

Well done Treorchy, though if it was in competition with Swansea then we should say no more.
I cycled through Treorchy last summer, bit of a time warp really. Couple of good old fashioned coffee stops there though

Whereas Transport for Wales is the shining light ?
The M4 in Wales absolutely shocking every week day at multiple locations as the Welsh government continue to procrastinate

“ ... was great at Everton “ ?? Wow, remind us exactly what he achieved there at one of the biggest clubs in the country. Even the Everton fans would be astounded by that statement

Always enjoy reading your posts as an outsider Tummer, well said.
4) blame it on the thick Brexiteers
5) blame it on Boris & the Tories
6) blame it on biased media

Man works all of his life & pays in to pension fund. Fortunately he lives long enough to see the benefits of working, paying tax & then seems content with his lot.
Person comes along & calls him a gloater because the country rejected a communist approach that advocates everyone should receive the same in life irrespective of what they actually put in to it. Just so long as someone else pays for it.
This smacks of jealousy mate. Are you still stuck in the 1980s ? Perhaps unable to distinguish the difference between fairness, milk snatcher & get it all for free. Must be a very sad life you lead to mock people who have made the effort & contributed to society far more than the stuck in their ways types. No wonder Wales is where it is with people like you.
Do yo want me to explain where Wales is versus the rest of the country for you ? Of course not, deep down you know this down to Welsh Labour but so much easier to blame the nasty neighbours with your warped agenda
|What needs changing at the Club?|
at 15:04 8 Dec 2019
The paper holding the cracks together ... it feels like the dark old days right now. Let’s face it there is nothing much that is right at the club.
Is the manager getting the best out of this group ? He overachieved for the first few months & now he is taking us backwards. We need experience in the middle of the park but we ain’t going to get it. This season looks to be about survival as will next unless we get new owners
