Looks like it's gonna be a scorcher, highs of 32 degrees expected over the weekend.
Agree on the lineup this year, it's probably the weakest at the top end since I've been going, with lots of acts who played the last few festivals. But there's lots of strength in depth lower down the bill, especially on the William's Green stage.
All you Heavy Metal lot could do worse then to check out the Scum Stage in Shangri-La, plenty to keep you headbanging by there: https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/areas/shangri-la/scum/
The best 5 days of the year without a doubt, and still leading the way in almost every aspect when it comes to UK Festivals.

I'll enjoy it even more if he comes in at 40/1.

Bowen interviewed, and interviewed well. He's on the shortlist.
He also turned the job down previously, I think it was before they appointed Carvalhal. But I'm guessing being no. 2 to Hughes in the Championship isn't such an attractive proposition...

6 man shortlist apparently, all of them have been interviewed.
Who do we reckon are the candidates?

We were supposed to be going to the USA, but we're now cutting costs accordingly.
Believe there's a boot camp in North Wales scheduled as well.

No chance of Jokanovic, Moore, or any other manager with a pedigree of Championship management.
Lump on Cameron Toshack as soon as the market opens, he impressed when interviewed for the job previously. No increase in wages, bonus-related contract. It's the Swansea Way.
Could It Happen? - Allen Unsure of Future

Allen to Leicester makes the most sense to me. Cheap signing as Stoke need to get him off the wage bill, would fit straight into a Brendan Rodgers side, and he wouldn't even need to move house.

Nice one butt, nice little double yesterday with that and Mont Kinabulu.
Any more for today?

Speaking of Ash, given the apparent abundance of riches Stoke have in the centre of the park (Allen, Woods, Clucas) - he's actually been getting a bit of game time as a defensive midfielder for Stoke lately.
Going to be a tight one tonight, interested to see how Grimes and Byers perform against these experienced players.
What's up with McBurnie?
at 10:08 15 Mar 2019
A regular in The Optimist and Peppermint, but I sincerely doubt all these illness absences are due to alcohol.
I did raise an eyebrow when they had a member of staff drive him home from Norwich last week though, rather than going back with the team. Must have been bad...

Especially noteworthy as they "aren't a political party", and therefore don't have to disclose who their donors are.

I see on the City forum they're hoping for the full allocation of 3,300 tickets (all of the North Stand) for this one.
Seems a bit strange to me, as I can only think of them selling out their full allocation once when we played them in the PL (the 1-0 win for us when Moore scored)
Sounds like Dan James is off
at 15:59 18 Feb 2019
It's well known that Dan wanted a new deal with the Swans.
He's on around £2k a week currently, and he's seen certain team mates getting deals worth £15k a week. Obviously he's well entitled to feel his value to the team is equal to said teammates.
Leeds offered him £15k, plus a big bonus if they got promoted. It's easy to see why the move was attractive, especially when we wouldn't even open negotiations over a new contract.
Hopefully we can get him signed up to a new deal, if he keeps performing like yesterday there will be better moves available to him than Leeds.

No chance tbh.
A win on Sunday is the only thing keeping our season alive.
