Thought both full backs were poor today. Roberts passed backwards at every opportunity. Worried when I saw Ayew, Celina and Routledge starting, thought we’d be overrun in midfield. Forest were a good side, tough to break down. Ameobi played well for them. Hoping Ayew doesn’t wait until the January window to start playing again. Doubled our foul count but only one yellow to our two. Couldn’t really argue with Van see Hoorn’s but they should have had a good few more Still top though and doing far better than expected at the end of last season
I’ve driven this stretch a few times recently and each time seen drivers braking hard when spotting the new cameras. Then slowing right down to try and lower their speed back to the required average. Bound to be a few tail end accidents over the next few months.
Didn’t recognise the name but had a listen to some of his songs today. Good songwriter and was a big inspiration to a lot of people it seems. Not the sort of performer who would have been a mainstream success. Real shame .
Seem to recall hearing his family missed Swansea when he left. Remember him playing against Port Talbot as a trialist years ago. I know he left under a bit of a cloud moving to Leeds but loved watching him in a Swans shirt. Welcome home Robbo. Looking forward to a trip to Ammanford to watch him back with Trundle.
Don’t like these big gigs because of the behaviour of an increasingly large number of so-called fans. Dragged along by the wife to see Take That in Cardiff and saw more fighting there than forty years worth of punk gigs. Worst thing I’ve ever seen was at the Killers in Swansea, where a pissed up young woman couldn’t be bothered to walk two minutes to go to the toilet and after unsuccessfully managing to insert a bottle, stood and urinated on the floor. Her and her equally wrecked friends then kicked off at the people around them who complained.
