It was more expensive than the Asian grill back in the mid 90's but had a good reputation.

Why the curfew??

Miah was sentenced to four months in prison suspended for 12 months, and made the subject of six-week 9pm to 6am curfew. The company was fined a total of £25,000.

The Nawab have been a thorn in the side of the developers for the last few years, refusing to sell and holding up the development.

I believe a deal has recently been done and the Nawab are allegedly walking away with over £1M, and have allegedly been running the business down for quite some time while these lengthy talks have carried on.

Nawab - eaten there twice and been ill after each occasion. How anyone paid a million for a slum lean to beats me. As did the sudden morphing of the Patti pavilion music venue into an Indian restaurant.

It's the very valuable land the slum lean-to is sitting on. The Nawab has stopped very angry developers getting even richer.

Something strange there. Running a busy restaurant for 35 years and needing an interpreter. Playing games possibly ?

They are just reporting some appalling hygiene breaches.

Ridiculous to bring some tribal Cardiff Swansea rivalry into it

It perhaps a good thing. There were quite a few stories relating to the council that never really got the full weight of exposure in the SWEP. And other political things like the Edwina Hart and Kancoat scandal. It was all a bit too cosy.
